Regulations for ArtCeram2 in Sèvres.

Please read the General Exhibition Rules carefully before committing and submitting your application.

Artists who have already participated in the last biennial in 2024 cannot represent themselves to allow the arrival of other artists.

1. Organization-Object-Dates

• Article 1. ArtCeram2 is an association created according to the 1901 law, whose head quarter is situated 105 rue des Bruyères at Sèvres – 92310, France.

• Article 2. ArtCeram2 is designed to promote ceramics through the establishment of artistic events and its actual task is the organization of a great exhibition at a specific location in Sèvres (France) which will take place

From May 21 to June 07, 2026

The “vernissage” will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, starting at 5 pm.

These dates have been set by the organizing committee and the local partners involved; any subsequent changes are not due to ArtCeram2, which will not be liable for.

• Article 3. ArtCeram2 will mainly present ceramics, unique pieces, inspired by ceramics or that offer a vision of it. The works must be recent work of less than 3 years.

• Article 4. ArtCeram2 sets the number of exhibitors for the best scenography. The exhibition is set up exclusively by the organizers.

• Article 5. On an area of up to 3m2, each participant will exhibit 5 to 10 works (depending on size) representative of their art and current work. ArtCeram2 reserves the right to refuse pieces that are not related to the application file. Artists must ensure their works.

2. Participation-Admission-General obligations

• Article 6. The piece which will appear in the catalogue will have to be part of the exhibition. The works will be put up for sale and the prices will be displayed on the list given to visitors.

• Article 7. The candidate must send his completed file to the site by November 30, 2025.

No files will be considered after this date.

An expert jury will analyze and select the files and give its answer for successful and unsuccessful candidates by February 15, 2026, at the latest.

The price for participation is 250 euros, of which 15 euros for compulsory membership of the association and 235 euros for exhibition rights. This amount will be requested only to selected candidates, accompanied by the exhibition convention which will take up the terms of this regulation accompanied by the settlement specific to the installation.

No amount is deducted from the exhibitors’ sales.

Exhibiting artists will also be able to present bowls for which an amount of 20% will be retained by the association.

Nathalie Juilliard

Former gallery owner and ceramics collector.
After opening Galerie Thalie, dedicated to contemporary ceramics, I moved to Clermont-Ferrand and then to Vannes.
Retirement allows me to devote myself to writing, poetry, painting and watercolours. I also volunteer my time visiting people in palliative care at the Jeanne Garnier medical centre in Paris.
However, I have not forgotten ceramics: this art form whose possibilities seem infinite to me, both in terms of beauty and variety.
I talk about and show ceramics to everyone. There are so many beautiful surprises in the works and so much humanity in the hearts of ceramists.

Paola Lumbroso

Installed at the Flea Market in Saint-Ouen since 1993, Paola Lumbroso is an antiques dealer who specializes in 20th century ceramics. The passion for this art, propelled her in 2002 into the world of contemporary ceramics, to which she will pay tribute through multiple individual and collective exhibitions, which the press widely echoes. Dynamic and entrepreneurial by nature, Paola Lumbroso puts all her energy into making ceramics, glass and fire arts in general recognized as specific artistic expressions.

Luc Fontaine

During a career devoted to management control and the financial affairs of international companies, Luc Fontaine crossed paths with Jean-François Juilliard, who introduced him to the world of ceramics more than 20 years ago.
After a long introduction to working with enamel, Luc developed a passion for sculpture using ceramics as a medium, which fuelled lively conversations with his mentor. At the same time, intrigued by the creations of today’s raku masters, he immersed himself in the poetry of the ‘chawan’ of the Raku family in Japan.
A passionate amateur, member of the Céramophiles club since its inception, and contributor for several years to the Galerie du Lavoir in Clamart, Luc Fontaine collaborates with the web journal Céramique Magazine to share his favourite pieces.
It is with great enthusiasm that Luc Fontaine joins the Art Ceram2 jury for the 2026 Biennale.

Paul-François Luciani

Paul-Francois Luciani’s expertise is based on his studies at ESTP and his previous positions as Deputy Managing Director of a subsidiary of a major CAC 40 group and CEO of the eponymous group. His involvement in associations led him to become a director of the Friends of the Sèvres Museum, responsible for sponsorship. As a lecturer, he gives talks on French porcelain in the 18th century from a political, economic and artistic perspective. As a collector, he focuses on 18th-century Western porcelain, with a particular interest in soft-paste porcelain. The Sèvres section of his collection includes works from the early days of the Manufacture to the present day.

Florence Brouillard

Studied Chinese and Japanese ceramics at the Guimet Museum. Worked for three years at the Kisaragi Gallery (Paris), Japanese Ceramics Art Gallery. Worked for many years at the Kimonoya (Paris) store of Japanese Crafts and Art. Wrote several articles in “The Journal of Ceramics and Glass”. Has worked for three years at the Clamart “Lavoir” as artistic director.

Stanley Neff

Architecte franco-américain, Stanley Neff est passionné et collectionneur d’art depuis son plus jeune âge.Alors qu’il exerçait sur la côte ouest des Etats-Unis d’Amérique dans les années 80, il collectionnait déjà des céramiques contemporaines.Depuis, se partageant entre Paris et la Sologne, il a monté plusieurs expositions de céramiques contemporaines au sein de sa galerie en Sologne qu’il a créé il y a plus de 17 ans avec son épouse.En outre, depuis 2016, il est le commissaire de la Biennale de sculptures monumentales de Sologne. Pour sa 8ème édition qui se déroulera du 9 au 24 septembre 2023, la Biennale présentera plus de 300 sculptures (dont 150 monumentales) d’une soixantaine d’artistes dans le parc du château de la Motte à Chaumont-sur-Tharonne (41) où seront réunies notamment les œuvres d’une dizaine de céramistes.
